Minus the stickers and lug nuts, but still.

I bet it comes standard with a vape pen charger.

Eric’s FoST and CoFL’s FiST have set the bar too high.

Not a fan of Fifteen52 wheels, especially the turbomacs.

All that money.. down the shitter for me :P

I give anyone with such stickers a wide berth.
This was at a gym, right?

Oh man. I absolutely love them. Especially the turbomacs, and inverted star on the hoonicorn

But those aren't yellow

Walmart parking lot, Monroe

It's my favorite ST color, AND white turbomacs...

Let's not make this about color

You missed the opportunity to say “BeST”.
But I agree, I quite like the yellow on the FoST. Although CoFL has convinced me that his color is pretty rad too. Hard for me to decide which I like more.
Before I bought my Miata, my heart was absolutely set on buying a brand new Focus ST with the recaros in this color. But as I weighed my options, miata for sub $5k versus getting a loan for $20k+ on top of my student loans after just graduating, that was quickly squashed as an idea. I made the right choice (stupid me thinking convertibles were dumb) and I will be better off looking at used ones some day anyways.

Why was the title not “I found the beST”?

That begs the question: Why were you at the Walmart in Monroe.
Wait, that might be the closest one. Maybe not.

I think the FiST beats out my FoST, but thank you.

It’s probably a faster drive to the Lynnwood one, but a more enjoyable drive to Monroe on the backroads.
However, driving through Monroe is a real slog.

But they’re so basic. At a Focus meet every fourth car will have a set of these. There are other wheels that are slightly more common, but not many. The weird lug pattern severely limits options, which is why the wheel choices are so concentrated.

Not if you take two secret windy backroads ;)

That makes sense. I think I see various sparcos the most though

I like that they’re MCM fans, but the rest is cliche, aside from this color being fairly rare due to being available for a shorter time than most colors. It’s like the IS (silver) color cars, which were only made for 2 years, but I think this one was an even rarer choice.

The only ones I can think of would probably add a lot of time and distance to that drive... Y ou also have the unique situation of living super close to a freeway exit, which makes me think that freeways would almost always be faster, except during the 3-5 hours worth of rush hour on both ends of the day.

Now, this makes far more sense. My first thought was, “it’s the wrong time of year for AIM to be doing snowy trails up there, what would draw him to Monroe? ”.

Rally wheels, mud flaps, nor a spec of dirt on it.
This doesn’t not compute

There are two (if you include the neighborhood market) in Bellevue, believe it or not.

They also are heavier than stock wheels, at least for the FiST.

I know of that weird one in the Crossroads area near the Szechwan Chef since I have been there (and hate it, like all Walmarts) , but didn’t know about the other one. I’d think that the one in Crossroads (region, not shopping center) would be the closest...

I’m pretty sure the same is true on the FoST. Most wheels in the lug pattern are ugly and/or designed for older car styles, since there’s so little demand for wheels in the pattern. The FoRS OEM wheels are some of the best wheels you can put on them as far as I’m aware...

There’s one in Factoria too - smaller footprint than a gigantor Wally World found every other highway exit in less developed parts of Murka, but it’s there. I’ve been there maybe once or twice.
I actually go to the Crossroads area one (Neighborhood Market) now and then - they simply have some products other local sellers either don’t carry, or carry irregularly. There’s an ethical component to patronizing the company, but maybe not much worse than Amazon.

That Factoria one surprised me when I searched. I’ve been to that mall, but never noticed it was there since I always come from the north/east. Apparently I also filter out their logo/signs. The only nearby full-sized one I’m aware of is the one in Monroe.
It’s hard to blame anyone for it anymore. Physical retail outside super concentrated inner city areas has been hollowed out to such an extent that you either go to a big box store of some kind or order what you need online. Even these stores are sparse - I’d gladly go to Fry’s to get a lot of stuff I order online if it wasn’t such a time-consuming slog just to get there.

It’s an odd location, not accessible via the mall, I think. But it’s there, and people are always shocked that it’s in Bellevue, even if Factoria is probably the least snooty part of town. I think there’s another big one down in Auburn or near, but I don’t make it down that way too often.
Driving here is often not fun, and shopping is even less fun. Costco is probably the biggest trip I make. Otherwise, when I can have a random order of something like Ovaltine, peanuts, and a hockey skate tool delivered in a d ay or two tops, that’s my choice.
